Does spying emails or computer network an offence as per Indian IT ACT?

If your office management spying on your offical email id is it an offence as per IT act of India. If yes which section of it is applicable? Can we sue the management for the same?

    Office is for office work and its not for personal work. If its official its not a secret and the office management has a right to see it. They are paying you for productivity not for secrets.

    ANY management incurs loses if its employees waste their time and they have right to spy on your activities excluding your email passwords, bank passwords etc. they can only know the websites visited at the most an deven block it.

    as the email id is the office’s nothing wrong if they spy.
