Looking at what you are already doing, it would be fun to get into computer networking because I view you as a technical person. That does not rule out the fact that you can still manage projects while working as a Network Administrator because I run by the belief that technical people are never short of work to do unlike sedentary or office workers

In my case I would say that if you love working with people you should take the project manager track (this is what I would do), you can start by getting a PM certification from the Project Management Institute (www.pmi.org) CAPM is not that hard and is a great tool to land a entry level project management job.
On the other hand if you love the technical challenge go to networks, if you feel you might get bored but still don’t like project management you may want to consider working for a consulting firm in a technical job, this way you get to be always updated in the latest technologies and also get assigments in different environments which will let you grow a lot as a proffessional.

Network engineers can’t be outsourced, as they must physically touch the network. Project managers can.
