I looked at Wikipedia too for this info, and didn’t find anything supporting your claim. What are you trying to do, start a riot with all the rabid Naruto fans? Toonami has been wildly popular since 1997, going on 11 years now, so why would they shut it down? I don’t think Gen Fukunaga and his company are going anywhere anytime soon.
Maybe you should have provided a link to wherever you heard that ridiculous rumor.

That’s a more complicated answer than one would think. I run The X Bridge and am a part of Toon Zone, and we’ve been trying to get an official word from Cartoon Network about the future of the block. They’re not officially saying anything. but the recent dropping of the first two hours has been disheartening to say the least.
My theory is that they won’t announce anything until the beginning of 2008, since holiday programming will filter throughout the remainder of the year. Since Cartoon Network is going through an idiotic live-action direction, one can suspect that a decision is forthcoming.
Naruto and One Piece aren’t going anywhere by any stretch. I know that Toonami is a fareweather brand at Cartoon Network (I’ve been covering it for almost a decade myself), but I think the block may be entering its last days. I wish I was wrong, but considering Toonami hasn’t premiered an exclusive series since IGPX leads one to believe the end is nigh.
